Une vue de la cérémonie.
A l’initiative de l’artiste, comédien et humoriste Omar Défunzu, la première école des métiers de l’humour et de la scène a été inaugurée hier lundi 5 octobre 2020.
Ce fut une cérémonie riche en couleurs qui a eu lieu en présence du ministre de la Culture et des Arts, Michel Menga M’Essone, de la directrice déléguée de l’Institut français du Gabon, Edwige Sauzon Bouit et d’Aminata Toure Mata, chargée de l’information et de la communication de l’Union Européenne, cette dernière représentait pour l’occasion Rosario Bento Pais, Ambassadrice de l’UE au Gabon pour Sao Tomé et Principe et de la CEEAC.
Toutes ces personnalités prenaient part au lancement officiel de la première école de comédie au Gabon dénommée Defunzu Comedy Club. Une structure qui vient offrir dans le domaine de l’humour une formation à des jeunes qui sont de plus en plus intéressés par les métiers de la scène. L’école vient en outre répondre à un besoin, celui d’avoir des comédiens et artistes qualifiés dans le domaine du rire.
Selon le promoteur Omar Defunzu, l’école des métiers de l’humour qui ouvrira ses portes bientôt, est parti des projets ultérieurs lancés depuis dans les années 2010 tels que l’émission ‘’Eclat de rire’ ’qu’il a initié sur la première chaine de télévision, puis le festival de l’humour africain qui a permis à certains humoristes africains de côtoyer des grands humoristes africains à l’exemple de Didier Cravate, Adama Dahico et plein d’autres.
Avant de rajouter que la comédie parait être une nouvelle forme d’expression pour des jeunesse qui assument désormais leur engagement : « d’où le besoin de mettre en place des structures de formation » relève l’initiateur.
