Un homme souffrant de démences a trouvé la mort au quartier Isac, ce jeudi 20 mai en après-midi. Son corps a été retrpivé sous un compteur d'eau alors qu'il tentait d'atténuer sa soif.

Un malade mental prénommé Éric a tiré sa révérence de la plus triste des façons. Le corps a été retrouvé gisant dans l'herbe. La tête sous le compteur d'eau dans une position laissant croire qu'il voulait atténuer sa soif.
Selon une source locale, Éric était très connu par les habitants du quartier Isac. Quelques heures avant son décès, il aurait été aperçu en pleine forme du côté du carrefour à proximité de la station service. À l'annonce de son décès, les habitants se sont interrogés sur les circonstances de son décès qui jusque là n'ont pas encore été déterminées.
« Nous ne savons pas de quoi il est mort. Mais personne ne peut aussi savoir s'il était souffrant en dehors du fait qu'il était mentalement déséquilibré. On ne sait pas s'il est mort d'une crise cardiaque ou des suites d'une morsure de serpent » relate un habitant.
Informées, les autorités judiciaires se sont rendues sur les lieux avant d'autoriser le transport du corps pour la morgue. Une enquête a été ouverte par les agents du commissariat d'Isac.
