La structure bancaire au coeur d'un vaste scandale.
Nous sommes le mardi 24 mars quand le site en ligne Gabonreview révèle une affaire de malversations financières et de société écran à Orabank. Les premières informations relayées par le site indiquent que des employés de la banque se sont rendus coupables de prélèvements illégaux de plusieurs millions de Fcfa dans un compte appartenant à un certain Marvin Ondo Ndong Sima. Interrogée la banque refuse à ce jour de s’exprimer publiquement. Aucun communiqué ou de déclaration sur une affaire qui entache très sérieusement l’image de la structure bancaire. L’on apprend cependant de certaines sources, qui se prononcent sous le couvert de l’anonymat, que les agents impliqués dans ces prélèvements font l’objet de poursuites judiciaires suite à une plainte de la direction d’Orabank.
Il faut attendre, le jeudi 26 mars dernier, pour en savoir un peu plus sur le dossier. La blogeuse Céline Alexandre va dévoiler sur son compte Mediapart les dessous d’une malversation financière qui prend ses origines au milieu de l’année 2018. La société gabonaise de raffinage (Sogara) fait virer d’importantes sommes d’argent sur d’étranges comptes ouverts à Orabank, indique la blogeuse. Avant de souligner que ces comptes n’avaient non-seulement rien à voir avec les activités de l’entreprise mais en plus qu’ils appartenaient à des prêtes-noms.
Qui se cache derrière lesdits comptes ?
Céline Alexandre dans ses investigations parle d’un certain Marvin Ondo Sima à l’époque des faits gérant de la société Bati-verdure. Ladite société aurait obtenu de la Sogara un contrat au moment où Noël Mboumba en était le directeur général. Fait étrange, Noël Mboumba et le directeur financier de l’époque, Billy Bendo Endo, font aujourd’hui l’objet de poursuites judiciaires suite à des malversations financières à la Sogara. Ces comptes ont-ils servi à Mboumba et Bendo Endo pour planquer l’argent issu des détournements de fonds ?
La question est posée alors qu’un autre nom surgit au sein de cette mafia ; celui du directeur général adjoint d’Orabank Gabon, Christ Didier Mengome. Ce dernier aurait profité de sa position dans la banque et de ses liens avec Marvin Ondo Sima (gérant de la société écran) pour siphonner l’argent dans ledit compte. On parle de plus de 500 millions de Fcfa évaporés avec la complicité d’autres agents dans la banque.
Une affaire familiale dans ce caste financier, puisque l’on découvre du fait des investigations de la blogeuse, que Marvin Ondo Sima n’est autre que le fils de l’ancien premier-Ministre Raymond Ndong Sima. Et Christ Didier Mengome est le fils de l’ancien général Simon Mengome Atome. L’ancien premier-Ministre est le beau-frère du général. Ce qui laisse penser à des arrangements entre les enfants des deux personnalités politiques. C’est d’ailleurs une thèse soutenue par la blogeuse qui fait remarquer en outre que le fils du général, ancien responsable adjoint de la banque et ses complices, ont été placés, depuis le 19 mars dernier, sous-contrôle judiciaire.
