La prison centrale de Mouila
Trois mois d’emprisonnement dont deux assortis du sursis, c’est le verdict prononcé par le tribunal de première instance de Mouila à l’issue de l’audience de délibération des flagrants délits infligée au président de la communauté camerounaise de la province de la Ngounié, Valentin Tamafort. Il avait été inculpé le 21 avril dernier, puis placé sous mandat de dépôt pour avoir tenu des injures publiques et des propos discourtois et désobligeants vis-à-vis d’un agent de force de sécurité avec qui, ils ont eu des échanges de paroles.
Les faits se déroulent courant avril, dans une discothèque de la place. En effet, selon une source proche du dossier, accompagné de son compatriote et d'une dame, Valentin Tamafort se rend dans la structure. Une demoiselle présente dans discothèque aurait obstrué le passage au moment où Tamafort et ses acolytes font leur entrée dans le snack. Un geste qui n’est pas du goût du ressortissant camerounais. Très vite la demande d'explication vire à la bagarre. Tamafort va porter des coups sur la fille.
L'agent des forces de l'ordre présent dans la structure va charcher à en savoir plus auprès du ressortissant Camerounais d’autant plus que la loi portant élimination des violences faites aux femmes et celle modifiant le code pénal du 6/09/2021, les protège.
Un acte que na va pas apprécier le président de la communauté Camerounaise, lequel est sorti hors de lui, s'en prenant à l'agent en civil, arguant qu’il n'est pas de son acabit. Tout en proférant à son encontre des menaces verbales en plus de faire prévaloir ses relations. Il indiquera, par ailleurs, qu’il n’avait pas à traiter avec lui, mais plutôt avec sa hiérarchie.
Au regard de ce qui précède, après plusieurs convocations au poste de police pour des faits sus mentionnés, il laissera paître l’autorité de sécurité, en allant jusqu’à détruire les convocations. Mal lui en a pris puisqu' il sera interpellé, puis placé sous mandat de dépôt à la maison d’arrêt. Avant d'être jugé et condamné à trois mois d’emprisonnement, assorti du sursis et d'une amende de 200 000 frs. En revanche, l'agent s’étant porté partie civile n’a rien exigé pour dommages et intérêts.
