Des joueurs de l’US Bitam logés dans un motel de passe à Mouila, ceux du Stade Mandji voyageant dans une pirogue de fortune en partance de Port-Gentil pour regagner Lambaréné, les joueurs de l’USO à Port-Gentil transportés dans des véhicules Pick-Up dans l’inconfort total… les manquements et insuffisances en matière d’hébergement et de transport sont nombreux dans l’organisation actuelle du championnat de première division de football. Au point de soulever une onde d’indignations dans l’opinion. Surtout que ces étourderies négligences mettent désormais en danger la vie des joueurs et des membres des encadrements des équipes.
Comment en est-on arrivé là ? Et qui est responsable de ce chaos ? En première ligne, le ministre des Sports, Franck Nguema. Ce dernier est celui qui, pour des raisons qui lui sont propres, a décidé de retirer le budget de transport et d’hébergement aux équipes pour l’affecter à la Ligue nationale de football (Linaf). Une incongruité aux conséquences néfastes. Surtout que dans aucun pays au monde ces deux aspects (transport et hébergement) sont gérés par l’entité qui organise les compétitions.
Mais il ne faut pas être un expert dans les sciences de la divination pour comprendre que le ministre des Sports, Franck Nguema, et le président de la Linaf, Brice Mbika Ndjambou, sont dans une logique de dépouiller les clubs de leurs prérogatives pour avoir une main mise sur la gestion des 3 milliards de budgets prévus pour la compétition. Il ne manquerait plus que la Linaf et le ministre s’occupent eux aussi du paiement des salaires des joueurs et des autres aspects d’intendance des clubs. On aura tout vu !
Entre temps, au milieu de ce chaos, la Fédération gabonaise de football (Fegafoot) et sciemment écartée. L’entité qui a logiquement la compétence et la responsabilité d’organiser le football dans notre pays n’a pas voix au chapitre. Le bureau de la Linaf ne se réfère qu’au ministre en se foutant royalement de la Fégafoot qui est pourtant son autorité directe.
