Gilles NEMBE, nouveau ministre des Mines.
Nommé le 17 janvier 2024 dans le Gouvernement Ndong Sima 2 pour y occuper le portefeuille des Mines, Gilles NEMBE, au lendemain de sa prise des charges, a rencontré le Directeur de Cabinet, les Conseillers, les Secrétaires Généraux, les Directeurs Généraux, les Directeurs et les Chefs de Services pour des échanges à bâton rompu. La salle de réunion de ce département a abrité cette rencontre.
Lors de son adresse, le nouveau patron des Mines a déclaré que la réunion consistait à rappeler aux collaborateurs les attentes des pouvoirs publics qui consistent à donner une autre dimension au secteur Minier. Gilles Nembe a en effet réaffirmé la détermination de l'Exécutif à concrétiser ses ambitions dans ledit Secteur, en faisant de l'Artisanat Minier une source de création d'emplois.
Se voulant plus concis, il a indiqué que le mode opératoire consistera en "la réduction du coût de vie à travers le gravier, le sable. Et permettre l'ancrage de cette activité''. Avant d'ajouter ''Il faudra aussi revisiter les contrats signés avec les partenaires économiques pour résoudre les déséquilibres et favoriser la transformation locale de nos matières premières pour créer plus de valeur''. Il a terminé son propos en déclarant : "Nous devons aussi réfléchir sur la manière de permettre au ministère d'aider les jeunes qui s'intéressent aux métiers des Mines, tout en sollicitant la collaboration des universités et certains partenaires économiques".
Le membre du Gouvernement a également insisté sur la nécessité de valider les projets qui participeront au développement du Gabon, notamment dans le domaine de l'adduction en eau potable, l'électrification, la construction d'infrastructures sociales( dispensaires, écoles, routes,...). L'objectif étant d'aboutir à une amélioration considérable des conditions de vie et de travail des populations.
Gilles Nembe a enfin invité tous les responsables à s'investir sur la chaîne de travail pour des résultats probants attendus par le Président de la Transition, le Général Brice Clotaire Oligui.
