Ce fut l’autre point de la levée de boucliers des agents de l’Institut Gabonais du son et de l’image (l’IGIS) en mai dernier. Les agents ne comprennent pas que la production cinématographique, qui fut la raison fondamentale de la création de cette entité, soit, aujourd’hui, reléguée au second plan. L’IGIS, soulignent les agents, passe plusieurs mois, voire des années, sans initier le moindre tournage. Situation qui justifie l’absentéisme des agents qui, dans leur grande majorité, ne sont pas des employés de bureau, peste le collectif.
Preuve de ce marasme, une des productions démarrées, il y a plusieurs années déjà et qui a connu une première diffusion sur Gabon Télévision, Hotel Coco, peine à redémarrer. La raison principale, poursuivent les agents, réside dans l’indisponibilité du décor de ladite série. Le collectif rend, pour ce faire, la direction de l’IGIS responsable de la situation. Car, souligne-t-il, la mise à disposition des décors est du ressort de la production et non de la réalisation.
Pire, deux productions, à savoir « Les Transmetteurs » et « Kidnappeur bien-aimé », attendent toujours leur sortie en avant-première avant la finalisation. « Le montant de cette avant-première étant estimé à 1 million 500 mille Fcfa, nous nous demandons pourquoi, depuis bientôt deux exercices budgétaires, on peine toujours à trouver son financement », dégainent les agents regroupés au sein du collectif. Avant de rajouter que « les productions inscrites dans des plans d’action annuels et entérinées par le ministère de tutelle, demeurent toujours classées sans suite ».
